Y-12 WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

As managing member of LATA-Atkins Technical Services, LLC (LATS), LATA has operated and maintained Waste Management Services at the Y-12 National Security Complex since 2019 under a $119M contract to Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC (CNS). Work is performed within a secure National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) environment and supports ongoing production and environmental remediation missions.

LATA operates and maintains 10 RCRA-, TSCA-, and CERCLA-regulated treatment, storage, and disposal facilities and 43 associated buildings located inside and outside the Protected Area. Services are delivered under an Integrated Safety Management System and a Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) program to ensure safe, compliant, and uninterrupted operations.​
