LATA is pleased to announce that JD Sohl has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.
In this new role, JD will serve as the leader over all projects, including D&D and Construction Projects, Environmental Projects, Technical Services and Defense/Intelligence and IT Projects. He will also work with LATA Project Managers in pursuing opportunities for future efforts and follow-on work.
Previous assignments include: JD joining LATA-Sharp Remediation Services, LLC in 2013 to support winning the Paducah Deactivation contract. JD served in several leadership roles, including Paducah Site Manager, leading the team in deactivation of the gaseous diffusion facility, environmental remediation, infrastructure support services, and support to the DOE site office. At the end of 2017, JD transferred to LATA to provide oversight of projects and business pursuits at Paducah.
Prior to joining LATA, JD was Vice President of Engineering for Energy Solutions’ Global Commercial Group; Chief Engineer for Uranium Disposition Services in the commissioning and startup of two new plants; and led Engineering and Nuclear Safety organizations at the United States Enrichment Corporation and Lockheed Martin Utility Services.
