Todd serves as LATA’s Executive Vice President & Chief Engineer responsible for bringing strong industrial and commercial best practices to LATA’s work that ensure on-specification, on-budget, and on-schedule performance for our clients in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls, chemical, nuclear, civil, structural, safety, environmental, fire protection, and value engineering; water and groundwater treatment systems design, installation, and operation; and design of remediation systems.
Todd has prepared and implemented engineering designs of complex systems containing both hazardous constituents and radionuclides. He has managed site investigations, feasibility studies, treatability studies, remedial designs, remedial construction, demolition and decommissioning, and regulatory compliance support. His expertise includes remediation of hazardous and radioactive materials, oil, and other contaminants and pollutants, groundwater treatment, groundwater modeling, and soil removals and disposition. He is experienced with both innovative and traditional remediation technologies including groundwater extraction, selective ion adsorption, multimedia filtration, air stripping, carbon adsorption, air sparging, soil vapor extraction, metals adsorption, dual-phase extraction, bio sparging, in situ bioremediation, phytoremediation, electrical resistance heating, and oxidant injection.
Prior to joining LATA, Todd was a founding principal of Sharp and Associates, Inc., which was acquired by LATA in 2005. He directed groundwater treatment, modeling, and industrial services and served as an engineer and project manager in the environmental field.
Todd has over 37 total years of experience, including over 20 years of CERCLA project management experience representing complex multi-disciplinary environmental remediation projects totaling over $100M. He has experience with DOE, DoD, USACE and commercial clients.
Todd has an M.S. in Engineering from Tulane University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He is a Professional Engineer in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio and Washington and a certified Project Management Professional.
