As a majority shareholder of LATA, Robin Beard serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. Robin boasts more than 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and management, primarily in the petroleum, agriculture, and environmental industries.

Her previous experience includes accounting work for several petroleum companies including Santa Fe Energy, Seagull, and Mesa Petroleum, and accounting for the Amarillo National Research Center, a University of Texas Research Center.
Robin later served as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Don Harrington Discovery Center, a non-profit interactive science and educational center in Amarillo.
She subsequently held executive-level management positions including serving as CFO for several family-owned businesses including a long-haul transportation provider specializing in agricultural products as well as for a national distributor of agricultural and industrial parts and equipment. Robin is also an entrepreneur in her own right, starting and serving as Managing Member of West Texas JNR Investment Group, LLC, an investment firm specializing in real estate in the Texas Panhandle, as well as founder and President/CEO of Rocab, Inc., a regional transportation firm.

In addition, Robin’s family operates a large agricultural enterprise in the Texas Panhandle that includes multiple corporate entities.

Robin has a B.S. in Horticulture from Texas Tech University.
