LATA Environmental Services of Kentucky, a subsidiary of Los Alamos Technical Associates, passed a milestone of one million work hours without experiencing a lost workday case due to job-related illness or injury at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant facility. This kind of accomplishment, achieved along with our team subcontractors and union employees, demonstrates the extent to which safety is a core value throughout our company and on all our projects. As Mark Duff, our LATA Kentucky Project Manager has said, Our team adheres to the concept that we will only achieve productivity through safety. The million-hour milestone is significant for our project, particularly considering the hazardous nature of the activities conducted. This milestone was reached over a period of about a year.
