LATA Forms Mentor-Protégé Agreement with Tidewater, Inc.

DOE has approved a formal Mentor-Protégé agreement between LATA and Tidewater, Inc. of Columbia, Maryland. Under DOE’s program, LATA and its subsidiaries, serving as the mentor company, will provide assistance and counseling to Tidewater in various management and technical areas to help this protégé achieve new levels of technical excellence and business success. The companies will team on a broad range of project opportunities under the Department of Energy, under other federal agencies, and for private industry over the coming years. As is the case with our Small Business associates, the Lakeworth Group, LLC in Los Alamos, LATA and Tidewater will enjoy “preferred partner” status with one another for future teaming, and will seek opportunity to involve one another in current work projects as needs arise.
